The Grove
Context
Zara’s new flagship store at The Grove, one of Los Angeles’ most iconic shopping destinations, is presented as a cutting-edge space where architecture, design and technology converge. This project not only meets the functional needs of contemporary retail, but also stands as an international showcase of innovation and sophistication.
The architectural concept focuses on a powerful and recognisable image that interacts with the urban and commercial environment while projecting a vision of the future. The design combines transparency, spatial fluidity and technical precision, reflecting the values of a global brand in constant evolution.

Scope
From our division specialising in retail, we participated in this project by providing high-performance technical solutions in both exterior and interior architecture. Our work included:
- Manufacturing and installation of all façade windows, both flat and curved, using high-performance glass and profiles that optimise the building’s energy efficiency.
- Design and execution of the main entrance, consisting of 4-metre-high automatic doors integrated with a special security system.
- Staircase screen on the first floor, providing visual lightness and safety.
- Pedestrian handrails and signage on the façade, executed with precision and adapted to the aesthetic and technical standards of the project.
All solutions were developed under the demanding standards of American regulations, guaranteeing a robust, effective result in line with the highest levels of quality.

Challenge
The installation of elements such as large curved windows and 4-metre-high automatic doors posed a challenge in terms of both manufacturing and installation, especially given the strict requirements of US regulations.
In addition, the project required meticulous coordination with multiple international teams, within a tight deadline and with no margin for error, to ensure a flawless opening on time and on schedule. Our industrial capacity, combined with rigorous planning and tailor-made solutions, was key to successfully overcoming these challenges.
